Slow Cooking for the Soul


After I get out of class today I am running home and putting some pork boneless ribs in my crock pot. I seasoned the ribs overnight with garlic salt and pepper. I have found that seasoning meat overnight allows the seasonings to reach through the meat to make sure every bite is tasty.
My obsession with boneless ribs came after a visit to the Tastes of Colorado festival. My brother in law and I bought some ribs from every vendor that was offering them. The smell alone can bring a fan to their knees. When I tried the ribs I was very disappointed with the meatiness of the bone in ribs. The majority of the rib is bone and the meat wasnt tender. Thus began my quest for meaty, tasty, boneless ribs. To this day I still experiment with sauces and seasonings for my ribs but one thing remains the same. The slow cooking crock pot that provides juicy and tender ribs everytime.
